I don’t normally bother going to the shows at the CNE. But on this particular day, it was raining, and our legs were tired from hiking all over the grounds, so when we saw a bunch of people filing into the arena we figured "why not?", despite not having any idea what the show was or when it started. Just seemed like it would be nice to sit down indoors for a while. So we did. And we waited, for nearly an hour, looking at this lovely ice stage setup. Then, finally, at about 5 to 5… the fire alarm went off. They didn’t evacuate the building or anything, but it was loud and annoying, and enough to convince me to bail on whatever the show was. Whatever, I got my rest, and it had stopped raining by that point.
